4wd module?

My 2005 Explorer has a advance trac/4wd issue. The wheels were engaging as though in 4wd,(on dry pavement) and the dashboard '4high' light went on without being switched. I pulled the fuse for both ABS and advance trac, and the problem went away. But then I got a load clicking from behind the dash, behind the radio. I assume this is where the module for the 4wd drive is? Would that click when malfunctioning? It is constant if the ignition is turned on...any ideas?

which fuse is for adv. track? I cant seem to find a definite answer anywhere..
