4WD stopped working

4WD stopped working It used to make an engaging sound now it does nothing but light up that it is in 4X4 on the dash does anyone have an idea?

after working on it today the hubs look bad now the question auto or manual locking hubs any pros and cons about using one or the other?

does anyone know were the find a bearing for a ford manual locking hub for a 91 explorer (its the plastic covered one in the hub)
