4x4 and low range lights on Gen.1

I have a 93 explorer and the lights for the 4x4 and low range dont come on, so do i have to go in and change them or pulling hte hole dash or just the little plastic there in!??

i assume you have verified the 4x4 is actually going on. if you want to get to them, its not hard to pull the dash, just a couple screws on the bottom and take out the cigarette tray assembly, and the rest pops off
