4x4 Doesnt work

The 4x4 and low rnage on my 91 Explorer does not work, and the lights dont come on when I hit the buttons. All I hear is the clicking from the moduel in the back. How do I fix this?

Welcome to the site... Your problem is very common and is related to a failure within the electronic shift motor.. Luckily the fix is free! Check out the Shift Motor Rebuild thread for lots of info and pic on fixing it.. Read it over several times before attempting it... You should also use the search feature to find answers to other questions you may have...
