Hi all
I finally fixed the fault on my car ref 4x4 lights flashing 6 times after a short distance.
If anyone is interested, and you have this problem, remove the two sensors and check the resistance, it should be about 700 ohms.
My front one was almost 2000 ohms and obviously way out of parameter.
Fastparts network supplied them and the cost breakdown is as follows-
Rear sensor 1l2z-7f293-ba $35.11, front sensor 1l2z-7f293-ab $33.22.
Handling fee $1.50, Freight $45.00.
This is about 55 pounds and so a bargain I think.
