Nothing happens when I try to select either 4X4 High or 4X4 Low. No annunciator lights clicking sound or anything. I have checked all fuses and they are OK. I also checked the relays under the hood and they appear to be OK. Everything else on the vehicle appears to be working fine.

I understand this could be a bad 4X4 module which is located behind the glove box. What does the 4X4 module look like and is it very difficult to get to? Is it easy to replace and is there any way to troubleshoot it?

Open the glove box and press the retaining tabs inward to allow the glove box to swing down and out of the way. The module is bolted to the blower housing and is black in color. I took a picture of mine, as soon as I figure out how to insert a pic, I'll update this post. Check all of your fuses and relays. Also, if you have an elaborate code reader, a bad module will throw a B1342 DTC code.
