Hello,

First, sorry english is my second language.

Secondary, i drive a 1997 explorer XLT automatic.

My problem is, when i start, i can see the 4x4high and 4x4low light in dash.
When i put the button to 4x4high, the is light done, but on 4x4low i don't see the light. Is it normal, is what my 4x4low work correctly??

If you can't understand, i will show you with picture

In order to shift to 4-low, you first need to be stopped, and put the truck in neutral, then move the switch. You should hear the front hubs locking when you do this. Put it back in neutral before shifting out of 4-low. 4-high can be switched while driving.

You may have to roll a little bit in neutral for it to grab 4 low, mine is a little picky to get in or out. You will know it when you're in--in my f150 I can start out in 5th gear in 4 low.

Thanks for reply but i know all the process to put it on 4x4low.

The last owner change the original radio by a new one with cd players, he install a new face plate. I will remove it to see if all are corectly connected, because the temperature buttun work only to fastest position and the ligther don't work
