I've got a few questions for those who have installed FMS headers on V8 X's.
Looking over the install instructions they suggest pulling/collapsing the steering shaft, disconnecting the fuel lines, and also having to modify the dip stick tube. I want to know if all of this is necessary? I've searched and read all of the old posts, but could not find info on any of these details. The instructions don't list torque specs either, just "tighten evenly" which is BS. Anybody have proper specs? Any tips on making this as easy as possible would be appreciated as well. I am probably going to tear into "ol leaky" next week and want to have a proper game plan. Thanks in advance.
