5.0 Headers

I am planning on installing a 2000 5.0 Explorer motor in my 99 XLT as the 4.0 SOCH motor blew.

I have all the stuff ready and the shop shoud have it done in a week.

i have been looking for headers but cannot seem to find many for the 97+ 5.0 explorers.

Does anyone know who has them?.........or will the 96/97 headers fit on the 2000?

Any info would be appreciated.

The 96 headers will fit.. you just have to have the EGR mount welded on. If you have the '00 motor right now you'll see what I mean. It's pretty simple to do and the shop should have no problem doing it for you. You can also search on this site for more info about it. And welcome to the forum!

they just re-re-released the 97.5-up GT-40P headers that you need. they are Ford Racing. do a search on their site. also, a few guys here already got some.
