How do you properly clean the MAF on a 5.0 motor?

CRC makes Mass Air Flow Cleaner. You spray half the can on it, let it dry for 10-15 min and put it back on.

Yep....What he said....

DO NOT USE ANY OTHER CLEANERS on the filament/sensor....you can...and probably WILL destroy it....

and dont try to wipe the MAF after you spray it, just let it evaporate. leave it be after spraying 10 or so times. the cleaner costs like 8 bucks and works wonders for your ride. be careful, those things cost a couple hundred bucks to replace if you break ti.
