I'm putting the truck back together and would like to replace the set of metal tubes that run down the passenger side from the water pump to the heater core. I ordered the replacement, which the salesman assured me was correct, but it appears to be a push in with three gaskets, vs the original appears to be threaded.
Couple of questions for any body that has ever replaced them on a 2001 5.0;
1) Is this the correct set?
2) How do I remove the original? I have a 1-1/16" open end on the lower "nut" and it's not budging. I also put a pry bar in between and again, no movement.
Does it need more force, or is there a trick.

Thanks in advance, and yes, I used the search with a few different variations but came up empty.
Once again, trying to figure out how to post pictures...

Never mind...got it.
