I'm interested in knowing where you mounted your oil filter relocation kit.

Pictures if you have them...

thanks,:hammer:

I have no pictures yet, but I mounted the oil filter behind the rad support mount on the drivers side. It is mounted right to the frame. This location works on a 2wd truck but I wouldn't suggest it on a 4x4 with lots of suspension travel.

Not sure now....

Joe, I had mine mounted on the driverside fender close to the front rad support. However, We are moving it due to space concerns and most likely going back to a single filter instead of the Double Amsoil filter set-up I had. Again, no pictures since it is still up in the air on location.

Thanks Rob

Thanks guys...

I'm plumb out of ideas on where to mount it vertically. I'm now exploring mounting the filter horizontally. I'd like it well protected near the frame. I'm just not sure how much room I'm going to have under my accessories.

joe you are still alive, I too would like to know some places so when the time comes (late summer early fall) I will know where to put it!

;)
Yep, I'm still alive...
I've just been putting more time in "reality" vs
the cyber space.

I'll let you know where I end up putting the filter.

I plan on mounting mine to the inside of the cross member just below the radiator on the drivers side. I am also attempting to include the oil cooler from the explorer engine which connects between the water pump and radiator.

It will have to mounted in the horizontal position. Vertical does not seem to fit, hangs down too low for my liking.
