5.0 oil leak

I have had to replace the oil filter/cooler o-rings two times in the last month. It leaks large amounts of oil where the cooler attaches to the block, this is even after I have replaced the o-rings from Ford. Is the cooler a common piece to warp?

Check to see if it's leaking from the seal area or from the adapter itself. We actually had a few bad adapters on our Cobras. I know they are different, but I am just making the point to check the adapter too. Also make sure you don't have an old O ring stuck somewhere.

Also make sure the adapter mount (threaded part that goes in the engine) is tight to the block
