5.0 swap?

Is this a thing now? I see in the useful threads the original 5.0 swap but has anyone else done one? I did a search but not much came up....maybe I'm terrible at searching though. I'm curious about this, I see the one guy used an older mountaineer from the 90's as a donor but what about something newer? I see 4x4 explorers with v8's, I see a 04 on craigslist near me, would this work better? Sorry in advance if these are all dumb questions. Thanks,

The 02 up Explorer stuff would be a huge project. The 01-05 ST shares most things with the 95-01 Explorers. Search my swap thread, lots of details. Find a good donor and get to it.
