ok i iwas driving with the a/c on in my 2000 mountineer 5.0l, and my engine temp rises up to 3/4 on the temp gauge, then my front lower part of my windsheild had condensation building up on the window. i smelled the condensation and it was just water, moisture not antifreeze. any way i shut my air off and a min or so my temp went back down. but then you turn the air back on the temp goes back up.

i just changed my thermostate to a 160 deg. flushed my radiator motor heater core, new coolant.

could i have a blocked radiator? also my air did not seem to be working as well it got colder as i was driving. the truck seems to be bogging a little bit to expecially with the a/c on. the a/c compressor is a little loud when runing.

a month ago i went off roading and got mud it the front of the condensor radiator. i sprayed it out really good three times.

Did you change the t-stat before or after after it was running hot?

You could have air in the cooling system. That 160 deg t-stat could be causing your bogging issue. It is fooling the computer into thinking the engine is not warm enough.
