5R55E in 2001 sport trac

My 2001 Sport Trac had the 2-3 shift flare for awhile and recently (overnight) started slipping in reverse and drive. I have good lock-up in low. So i pulled the pan and found the sparator gasket blown around the servo piston cover. As I was in the middle of putting the VB back on with a new bonded serarator plate I found what I have learned to a needle bearing. After a little more inspection I found two more.
Question one...should i pull it and rebuild it?
Question two...what is the difference between a transgo and a sonnex valve body kit?

Don't keep running the trans. Pull it and rebuild or replace it. As far as kits they all work,just some address different areas. I use the sonnax zip-kit on this model transmission and on others maybe Trans Lab,Transgo or Superior. Let us know what you find.

Thanks Transman. I started the process of pulling it today. I'm going to tear into it ans rebuild it. Man those sport tracs are a pain in the ass to work on. I had to pull the motor earlier this year because on the timing chain issue. I'll keep the group posted when I get it opened up.
