Thank you for the great information resource. As I have searched the various threads, I have not been able to determine the operational differences between the two pump gear setups in the 4R55E and 5R55E transmissions. I’ve seen pump gear sets for a 16 tooth center gear and also a 24 tooth. It appears that the 24t may be the most popular. Although the pumps appear to be installed the same, can these be interchanged, or does each set establish a specific range in pump pressure which may introduce computer control issues? Would replacing a 24t pump with a 16t pump be a bad move? I looked through the threads, as I suspected it may already be here. My apologies, if I’ve missed it. Thank you!
