just got done installing solenoid pack 3 days ago everything is tourqed to specs and filled correctly no problems whatsoever until trans solenoid went out, now major hesitation in reverse, i believe it to be slipping it takes 20-30 seconds to engage or if you step on the gas it engages around 3k rpm any thoughts? engages all forward gears no problems downshifts smoothly

Forgot to say transmission slips in drive, well it actually feels like it cuts out I shifts smooth but after 35mph it just revs with no increase in speed then you pull over and it gets below 35 and engages again does not do this if you manual shift 1-3 only in drive/overdrive and you can make it engage by downshifting from drive when it cuts out to 3-1 need help please

Welcome to this forum! Where did you get the solenoid pack? It might be defective. Did you check the low/reverse servo? Do you have a 0 - 300 PSI test gauge to test the main pressure, and the EPC pressure?

Solenoid pack was from 800 700 trans. Yes i have all that stuff to test how do i test it though

Not a thing was wrong with trans until solenoid pack went out, my wife was driving it and called me said it was acting funny and od light was flashing like crazy I told her pull over went to meet her drove across the street to a friends auto shop and scanned codes and it was pressure control solenoid c malfunction. Drove it hard and it was slamming into 3rd from 2nd. Bought parts online and replaced pack, filter, pan gaskets and fluid.

just got back from a drive and its not 35 mph it shifts thru gears andit does 1-3 great, really smoothly, it gets to next gear and just completely cuts out until you slow down enough for trans to downshift thats why if you manually downshift it works fine, or so im guessing. dont know if this helps clear anything up but thats whats going on

I suspected that you bought it from that place, but I didn't want to say anything until you mentioned which place you got it from. Send back the defective solenoid block. A lot of members have had the same experience, and even worse. One member bought it, then didn't use it so he posted it on EBay. The person who purchased it told him that it was defective, and he had to take a loss, and refund his money. That person refused to mail the old one back, so he couldn't send it back to 800 700 tran for a refund. The BBB has numerous complaints about them too. Some members ordered parts, and got them over a month later. The place never returned phone calls or emails, although some persistent people managed to get them on the phone. A rep from their company tried to sign up on this site a while ago to advertise his site without being a vendor on this site, so his account was banned as a spammer. I don't recommend them anymore after reading all of these things, and regret ever recommending them since so many good members on this site have been taken advantage by that company. I hope that a rep from that place sees this post, and changes the way they do business.

Well thank you very much for the info, really not happy about redoing all the work I just finished but I guess I have no choice. Can you recommend any place to buy a new one at?
