my A4LD is hosed. I have some ?'s regarding the 5spd tranny swap. swapping the tranny is pretty straing foward, it is the little things i am concerned about. also note that the donor i am considering is a sport my truck is not.
1) will i need a different driveshaft for the manual as opposed to the auto? different length?
2) is the wiring harness connection for the neutral saftey swutch the same connector as for the switch for the clutch for starting?
3) mounting the clutch master cylinder, is there just a popout in the firewall?
4) mounting the pedal, is it a straight bolt in?
5) other than a new tranny mount, will i need anything else to just "bolt in" the tranny? is the crossmember the same?
