When I bought my 91 it showed only 36k on it, at 39k the flex plate broke and I replaced it. 200mi. it broke again and this time took the tranny with it (replaced both) At 40k they went again this time new bellhouse(thought alignment pins must be off)and flexplate and tranny. I have gone through 3 more flexplates and have replaced the torque converter 3 times,spacer 3 times,and balanced the converter and shaft. The crank seal does not leak and the tranny pump seal doesn't go bad when I replace the flexplate.I feel a slight vibration in the tranny at idle and even stronger when in park or neutral.I have 60k on it now and need HELP...HELP...HELP...please If any one has any ideas let me know!
