hey all, baught an 84 ranger just to steal the winch bumper and put it on my explorer. so now i have this ranger i want to fix up a bit to either lift and make another trail rig or just sell in decent running condition. anyways to my question, the front passenger side brake siezed up while driving it home so on the side of the hwy i had to remove the caliper strap it up at the top of the wheal well and crimp the brake line and im not sure why it siezed. the truck wasnt used for awhile before i drove it home so maybe it was just from lack of use? any opinions would be great. think maybe i just need a new caliper and rotor? the rotor got red hot so chances are it warped from the heat. brake didnt lock up untill it drove for about 25km.
