86 Ranger 2.9 No Start

Hello,
I have 1986 ford ranger 2wd. I won't start, I was running just fine one day and just died. I cranks over just fine but will not fire. I replaced the batty,battery cable,fuse's,cap and rotor coil and the coil module on the back distributor. I checked fuel ensurer switch. No spark from coil still

...it's either fuel or electrical...fuel pump, fuel pressure, no spark at plugs...could even be a bad ground wire....check for fuel and for spark...good luck...

2.9 no start

first thing is to check spark, TFI modules are a common problem.Listen for your fuel pump to cycle after you turn the key.maybe someone kicked the inertia switch(it shuts off the fuel pump in case of an accident)

Have you checked the ignition module on the back of the distributor?
