87 ranger 2.3 head gasket

after replacement, I was pumping oil directly into the coolant. Found 4 orings in the kit, but didn't remove any. Any ideas what is going on? I'm tearing it down again now. George

Found the problem. I didn't control the head adequately during install, shifted the head gasket a bit.

a little tip is to use just a TINY dab of rtv at opposite corners to hold the gasket in place during assembly
