Newbie here... Can anyone tell me how to replace the rear sliding window on an 87 Ranger 4x4 regular cab. All done finally rebuilding it except for this part...
Just re-installing it? Hmm, I did mine five years ago...I remember reading to use a length of heavy string/thin rope wrapped around the window gasket, in the groove. But I'm not sure I did that. I think I just had someone hold it in place from the outside, while I worked from inside the cab, pulling the gasket in over the lip of the window opening. It's not unlike putting a bicycle tire on the rim.
