Look what I found on eBay. Does anyone have any ideas what is that? Looks for me that this Timing Advance Resistor is just a resistor somehow connected to the MAS which will send the wrong info to the ECU.

It is the ol' IAT Resistor trick.

Soooo... What is this Resistor trick about?

It basically entails in changing the signal the IAT sends to the computer, making it change spark and fuel. It may provide more power sometimes, but can be very bad for reliability, mileage, and emissions. It will also make you lose power sometimes.
