I have them and the biggest disadvantage is the fact that the high beams doesn't come on full brightness immediately. Due to the second set of filaments must heat up to reach full brightness, there is an slight delay. Also you have to mount 4 ballast instead of 2 during installation. For me it's been no problem due to I almost never need to use high beams, the regular hid beam is fine. The flash to pass option does work with these also making it convenient.

thats good to hear, how are you hi/low light patterns?, i only wany the hi beams when im on the road by myself and the telescopic high beams sucked. what brand did you end up getting? i just dont way to spend $200 for something that is worthless, i was thinking that the placement of the 2 hids on the bulb would throw a bad light beam

Ramren16 I purchased mine thru RSI Motorsport during an group buy from another forum. Their link is http://www.rsi-hid.com/ and the website has info regarding the differences of obtaining high beams by different HID bulbs setups. My high beams are great although I never get to drive long distance with them on. The next step up would be projectors but I'm satisfied with mine now for the price which was under $200.00. Good Luck.
