91 4.0 auto...convert to manual???

91 extended 4.0 automatic...2wd...convert to manual trans???
Has anyone done this??? my tranny is starting to go so i was thinking about converting it over to a manual tranny...

Things that i assume i will need:
from ranger/explorer:
tranny, shifter, clutch, tranny crossmember ??

clutch pedal assemby??

your thoughts????

Welcome to this forum! I'm sure that it was done before. Take pictures of your conversion, and make a photo thread. The computer is designed to work with an automatic transmission. Some wiring will be necessary as far as the VSS, neutral safety, and reverse light switch.
