Anyone have any experience with the manual transmission linkage on a 91 Explorer? Its always been lots of play from left to right, but now all of the sudden I can spin the shifter all the way around 
Kinda makes it impossible to shift now.
It looks like the shifter just sits right on top of the transmission and there is one bolt that goes in and prevents it from coming off or going left and right, but I can't tell where the bolt or she shifter is really worn down. It almost looks like the bolt is to small for the hole and has to much play, but its the original bolt and worked fine for years.
If anyone has had this problem before Id love to hear how you resolved it.
