'91 Explorer Tranny shifting problem

I have a '91 Explorer Automatic 4X4 that is shifting from first to second kinda funny. When the trucks cold, the shifting is perfect. When the temperature gets a little warm, the truck shifts from first to almost third (shifting into second for less than a second then into third). Know what I mean? I've taken the truck into a garage to have the tranny fluid system flushed. Still the same crap. What the hell is my problem?

Hmmm... I hate to be useless... but somebuddy else here had the same problem I think. you might want to try seaching the forum a bit. I cant remember for the life of me what the problem ended up being though...

I have had a similar problem and posted the problem in here. my problem is that it has a hard time shifting into drive and reverse. I went down to the garage and they did a complette flush and then put in a cleaner and hen another flushed followed by the regular fluid, they told me to drive it for 2 weeks and then come back if i have any problems. well its been 1 week and the same problems. works great when its cold but once it warms up it starts to slip out of gear when I come to stops and the shifting is prolonged from 1st to 2nd gears the prolong shift is fine by me because I'm getting more power. anyways I'm going to take the truck in today or tommorow pending I hear a hopefull idea from here. I'll keep you posted if I have to take it to the garage and get the work done and what the outcome was.
