I have a 91 ranger that would crank slow then start, then it got where it would not start so I would have to popthe clutch for it to start,, so I replaced the battery, and then tried to start it, now all it does click at the (realy or solenoid not for sure what it is called) next to the battery and it will not start at all can anyone help??

its the solenoid that is clicking. you need a new starter

Check the cables to the solinoid under the hood first before you go getting a new starter, also have a looksy at the cable to the starter. Watch out for rust/corrosion. Have someone try to start it and listen for what solinoid it is, the main solinoid is under the hood probably near the battery. If this is clicking then make sure all the contacts with the wires going to it are good.
