I was taking son to school, somehow or another the pulley on the end of the crankshaft with the serpentine belt, the bolts twisted off in the crank..... truck still runs fine but im gonna hafta replace the pulley and possibly the harmonic balancer. I have started on it today, (since i cant afford to pay a mechanic) and noticed the fan is broken in several places. I cannot figure out how to get the fan off after removing the radiator and ect, i removed bolts from fan and pulley the fan attaches to, do i just need to peck it off? OR do i need a special tool? Or is there a certain procedure, i havent gotten a manual as of yet, but that time is rapidly approaching. Got this truck for 500 bux about 3 years ago, this is 1st problem i've had with it....... Thanks for your time and help.
