I have posted this before I dunno wtf the problem is. I chnaged the Starter Solenoid that works great, switch the clamps on the battery cables and cut some of the old cable out and attached that that worked fine, I let my truck sit outside for about a few months, maybe 2 and it does this all the time to me it keeps dieing the battery just died I took off the power to the amp, my strobe lights, my scanners everything and that did it for a few minutes but again the battery died and I cannont start the truck. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to fix this thing?!?!

Thank you,

:us: -Joe

Bump--Anyone gonna help me?

well, you have a circuit thats being left open, or you have a bad battery. check water levels, I guess the next step would be to unhook the battery and use a continuity tester on the fuse block circuits to see whats still open. do you have alot of "extras" in you car, amps, lights, blah blah, you might need a bigger alternator, you may not be recharging the battery, that is plausible since our original alternators are pretty low amp

Try replacing your fuel pump relay - its a pretty common problem on 1st gen X's. Although going months without starting a vehicle can kill the best of batteries.

Well I took her out for a ride and she works alot better now i put in a different level octane of gas which is hell of alot more expensive then regular and it's running fine. The fuel pump was replaced during a routine tune up because it was nearing 100,000 miles that was 3 months ago or so. I guess it just needed to be driven. Thanks for everything bros. Alright till the next time I need help! :D

you can also put a volt meter in line with a battery cable (neg or pos) and remove fuses untill you see the draw stop. Now don't removed all the fuses at the same time...just one, check the meter and if no change install the fuse and try the next one. This will atleast give you the circut that is drawing your power.

Please tell us you have factory battery terminals, and not bolt on terminals? Bolt on battery terminals are a bad mistake. They may be good for an emergency, but they should never be used for any length of time. They will cause battery and starting problems. Good luck,
