92 explorer xlt keyless entry.....could use a little help here

i just got a keyless entry for my 92 explorer on ebay, problem is i dont know where to begin to install it. i've even got the haynes build up tear down book and it says nothing in there. can naybody help me out so i dont have to pay somebody money to do something that could take me 10 minutes.

About all I can tell you is that the wiring for the locks is in the drivers side kick panel, The one i got (bulldog) came on my remote starter and needed two extra relays to operate what they called FORD TYPE C LOCKS , if you need a wiring diagram Bulldog has them for specific vehicals on their web site www.bulldogsecurities.com . I dont know what type you have but their support phone was good too, maybe your manufacturer has the same help. If not try these guys web site the diagram should help.

Are you sure your truck is equipped with the remoteless entry?

The remotes on eBay are for people who need a replacement or something.

Did you buy the remote or all the equipment?
