could use a little help

hi every one, so i recently purchased a 1991 ford ranger single cab i believe it to be a sport. i have a 2.9l engine and a Mitsubishi FM146 trans currently in the truck. I am interested in upgrading to a 4.0l and mazda trans. i have found a motor and trany localy the 4.0l is a sohc from a 97 explorer.

So my question is will this be a feasable swap for my lifted 4x4

I think so but the computers will have to be changed-- allong with a bunch of other stuff-- (wiring harnesses) There are severl good threads on motor swaps.
