92 XLT 5-speed (Mazda M5R1 transmission)
I am attempting to troubleshoot a transmission problem:
gears 1-4 and reverse work fine, though 5th gear is non-functional.
I lost 5th gear popping the clutch in reverse as a means to get the truck started (I fried the starter).
The vehicle drives fine at speeds of 60+ mph in fourth gear.
