93-97 ranger hood on an X?

Hey all,

I found a place selling cowl induction fg hoods for 93-97 rangers. I have a 1995 X. Will those fit? The hinges are different, but it looks like the holes for X hinges line up.

i believe ranger hoods arent the same as the explorers. if i remember correctly an explorer hood can be made to fit a ranger but not the other way around.

So, doesn't anyone make a decent hood, hood scoop, or hood scoop clip for an Explorer? Mine is a 96. I've looked almost everywhere. I'd really like to find a cowl induction hood scoop clip, but I'd be willing to accept less if something good was available. All I've found are the Lund Scoops and some funky bolt on and fill in types.
