93 drivers exterior door handle

Before I tear out the interior panel, maybe someone could tell me what I'll find. When I pull up the handle it opens the door, but the handle returns loosely. It sort of just flaps. Is there a retention spring that might have popped off or is something else probably broken? Thanks.:bounce

There is a white plastic thing that tightens it up. Be carefull and get a new one. See id you can talk the Ford guy into giving it to you because if not it is a whole new assembly.
