Alright, so a friend of mine has a 93 EB with like 190,000 miles on it and its in great shape. He has only had one problem with it, and it was the AC condensor. Until last night anyway.... He gave me a call and said that when he started his car to leave work, it was idling really bad and when he left he got like 2 miles and it just shut off. So he started it back up and drove it and it would die a lot I guess. So I went over to his house and checked it out. When he starts it, it idle's like crap, it wants to die, and then rev's itself back up and then almost dies. And it also makes this loud hissing noise, from the back of the motor. The noise is coming from the drivers side at the back of the motor, it sounds almost like there is an exhaust leak or an intake leak or something, but it was dark and he doesn't have any tools, not even a flashlight, so it was kinda hard to find. I don't know if maybe this is a problem that the older explorers are known for, but any advice would be great, I'm heading back over there later today after a baseball tournament, so any info would be great. Thanks
