- '93 Eddie Bauer
Hi, I've been lurking and (somewhat) learning for about the past month, and really need some advice from the pro's here (I'm not truly mechanically inclined, but can change my own brakes
) - I bought a 1993 eddie bauer X (automatic) about 2 month's ago, and love it, but, bad thing's happen, and the head gasket blew, and took the engine with it...
I just bought a 1996 X automatic sport (that look's like it was rolled in an accident), but the engine is next to pristine (the prev. owner did take very good care of it, I now have all the records
), and the transmission is in better shape than the one in my '93.
My question is will the engine and transmission from the '96 fit in my '93 without major hassles (bolt positions, wiring, etc)?
Looking forward to any and all responses.
