93 Explorer Door Frozen

So, my 93's front passenger door wont unlock, open, pretty much anything. Anyone been through this before? If so, how'd you get your door open to get access to replace the door latch?

Great question - welcome to the forums!

What led up to this problem? Did it get gradually worse or was there an event like a collision that caused it?

If the linkage is physically actuating the latch but can't quite open it, try applying some pressure to the door (throw your weight on it) while trying to open it or unlock it.

The lock knob can be unscrewed (cut a slot in it for a screwdriver if needed) - I'd think if you could unscrew the rounded plastic knob, you could thread some internally threaded rod onto it and use that to pull it up and unlock the door.
