This is a problem that has always existed but lately seems to be getting worse. Whenever we bring it to a firm stop and by this I mean not a panic stop, but rather the type you might use if you are stopping quickly because a stop light has turned to yellow and you want to get stopped before going through a red, the rear brakes lockup. This is on dry pavement. However,
during a full blown panic stop, the ABS seems to work as desired.
Any ideas? This is a '93 XLT 4x4 5-spd.
