where to even start..Okay
I have a 93 ford explorer 4.0 v6 4 wheel drive

i have had ongoing problems with the flexplate. I have been through 3 of them and not understanding whats going on. The truck ran perfect before the flexplate went out, and now that the tranny was done the truck is lagging severely...

I have replaced the Mass air flow, EGR valve, (( the silver box in front of the EGR valve)) <-- sorry i forgot the name, the idle control censor, the coil pack for the spark plugs, the cats sounds like they are clogged and i have had someone look at them and they say they are not clogged.. but very little light shows through when you remove and shine a light through.

the truck when you drive it feels like it is under load and does not want to budge. Today i drove the truck to a friends house and i went to leave and lost reverse... my truck would not go backwards... Took it to a mechanic and he was checking all of the sensors and pressed the throttle and the truck jumped out of park and straight to drive and took off.. WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS?

we have thought about the clutches in the tranny?? BUT THERE IS ALSO A DIAL ON THE SIDE OF MY TRANNY I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!!! it turns all the way to the right and doesnt come out and then turns to the left and it tightens in the transmission?? I am so confused on to what is going on with my truck i have had her for 2 years and never had issues other then the flexplate and she has NEVER ran like this before!! PLEASE HELP!!! i will try anything!!!:(

can you all tell me why the engine light come on and off for and what dose abs mean

the engine light coming on and off could me a bit of things.. mine comes on and off because of my cats... ones hollowed out and ones not... and its cut off... straight piped... and ABS is your ANTI BREAKING SYSTEM... if your light is on it could mean your ABS motor is going out? or there is something going on with the break system.
