Well then its jsut a matter of hitting J&B(junkyard here) and getting the light assembly, the new grill, the trim piece

and make sure you have all the brackets holding the lights and grill the front wall peice.

what brackets do i need that aren't already in my truck or are they all different.

"Well thats stupid, I bet they get broken easily."

just all the brackets that hold the grill and lights on. when you start taking it apart i think it'll become a little more clear. the vertical part that everything bolts to, make sure you have the brackets that go from there to the grill and lights.

let me rephrase, are there differences in the brackets for the explorer grill and navajo grill in which i would have to different brackets?

yup. there's a difference in the brackets, but they all bolt in the same

Thanks again for the help R.J. I will post pictures when i"m done.

i believe so if you are looking at R.J.'s fenders his are aftermarket mine look nothing like that.

J3, i have a billet grille with fog light cutouts for sale for a 91-94 explorer if youre looking for one. my friends almost bought me navajo badges and headlights/grille so i could fit in at import carlisle with them, just to get me to go.. i stayed home.

Thanks for the offer four0, but as i plan on putting my lights on the roof i will have to turn down your offer.

On a side note, is the gap guard truly necessary after a body lift?

Its pure personal preference. IMO firstgens really dont need it. But the gap between the body and frame IS barely noticeable on the rear fenderwell area but thats about it, compared to most fullsize pickups where you can see clear between the cab and frame.

i have seen the clear in newer cars but didn't know what it would look like on a Navajo. And the fact that i can save 100 bucks is nice.
