I really need some help.
I have a '93 XLT with a "premium" sound system. While trying to replace it I cut the small square one connector (harness?) off.... now I am stuck with a bunch of unlabelled wires. Ugh! What have I done???? i have a feeling there is some sort of adapter i was supposed to buy, but i can't worry about that now!!

These are the wires that i found in the grey casing:

white/red
white/orange
lt. blue
lt. blue/black
green
lt. brown
yellow
purple/white
a bare wire

Is anyone willing to walk me through this? I would REALLY appreciate any help you can offer........

All of the colors for the wires indicate what the wires are hooked up to. For instance: the red with white wire hooks up to the amplifier (NOT REALLY, I just needed an example). Try this: call crutchfield and tell them whats up. They helped me out a ton with my '94 explorer. Oh, and DONT FORGET to bypass the amplifier. They told me you I'd ruen my brand new stereo if I didn't.
