I have a 93 40 ranger it won't Rev in drive it will ideal if I un plug maf sensor it will run I have tried 2 maf sensor same problem but it will be fine for 2 min when first driving it

I just cleaned the iac and tested it works fine drives fine to with maf unpluged

I would suspect a vacuum leak somewhere if it won't stay idling. Check all vacuum connections make sure there tight on the nipples no splits in the hoses. Check intake tube for cracks.

Also check the MAF to throttle body tube for holes. I had a 91 explorer with same problems. Quick fix- wrap holes with aluminum foil then electrical tap, until you replace it.
