Hi everyone--
Just got a '93 XLT last week and have been driving all over with no problems (with selector in OD).
Yesterday I stopped at a light, and went to take off and the car wouldn't move, just revved up. Finally I got it to work in D and went back home, but had to be careful not to take it out of gear, or it wouldn't re-engage.
With the selector in OD the car won't move at all. It seems sluggish in engaging reverse or the first three forward gears, but once in gear, drives fine.
Sometimes no gears will engage and the car will just barely creep forward or backward when the engine is revved.
I topped off the fluid and checked the OD belt and it was fine. I have read tons of threads, but none seem to quite duplicate what I'm experiencing...
What next?
