94 4x4 right front axle removal?

Please Help! My right front spindle bearing self destructed. I removed the spindle and replaced the bearing and seal, now I need to how to get the the spindle back on the axle seal. I bolted the spindle back on and the axle does not come out far enough to get the C clip on. I assume I need to remove the axle and press the axle seal on to the spindle. How do I get the axle out and get this thing back together?

Use a jack to lift the TTB so that is sits level (Being level gives the axle shaft the most length). You can then slip a large screwdriver into the axle shaft U-joint location and pull it out. This happend to me on my 2'nd brake job. I scratched my head for 20min and thought I had screwed something up.
