Hi all,
I plan on rebuilding my 1994 A4LD in about a month. I have been around the block and back looking for a snap ring set for this transmission. I found a site or two that sell single snap rings, but I would like to replace them all. Any help would be much appreciated.
thank you

Why do you want to replace all of them? Most of the time it's the rear snap ring on the output shaft that needs to be replaced. There are 2 different ones for that shaft. Which places sell the large clutch pack or servo cover snap rings? Did you check WWW.TransmissionPartsUSA.Com, WWW.Wittrans.Com, or WWW.BulkPart.Com?

Yes I have checked all the major tranmission parts dealers. I have read all (well not really all of them, I'd still be reading) the posts and thought that it was agreed that you should replace the snap rings. I saw in the Glacier991 rebuild the center support retaining ring was loose. My wife is all for spending less money. So I guess I'll take your advice.
