I have asked this question on other boards and I could never get a straight answer nor could I find anyone that has ever done It. All I have been told Is that It Is too much trouble.
I have a 94 Explorer with the A4LD auto transmission. It Is on It's last leg and I have to change It out. My Question Is can I go from a auto to a manual?
I have done It on a few cars before but never a 4x4 truck.
I am sure It can be done but what I need to know Is what would I have to change other than the transmission?
I know I would have to add a clutch petal, clutch cable, shifter, clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, maybe change the drive shaft. Anything eles I am missing? Can I get your guys opinion on this?
Also can anyone tell me what manual transmission goes Into a 94 Explorer?
