Hi,
hopefully someone can help me with my prob. I just bought a 94 Explorer Sport V6 4.0 and I have a recurrent problem. Sometimes (I cannot predict when it will happen) it won't start: the battery is running, the engine turns but the only thing is: it does't start. Every time this happens you will NOT hear the fuel pump working and the CHECK ENGINE lamp is not on when you turn the key! Sometimes you have to wait for hours and the it will work fine for one or two days.
What do you guys think: is it a prob with the fuel pump (but why does it happen only sometimes), is it the immobilizer (but I always open and start it the same way) or is it just bad luck?
Please let me know what you think about it!
